Today my teacher, Devin, told us to take indoor portraits. I chose Litzy because she is photogenic and her portraits turn out really well.

This is my friend Litzy. She and I have been friends for nearly 2 years now and she has been there for me through some really tough times. She truly is one of the best friends I've ever had. Thank you Litzy for being there for me and being my friend, you're awesome.

Old Sac

So this Monday my photography teacher took the class down to Old Sac. He let us walk around and take photos of our own assignments. My assignments for this week were bridges, buildings, and portraits. My friends and I walked all over Old Sac and they saved me from getting hit by a few cars when I wasn't paying attention. I guess I should start paying more attention to where I'm walking. Anyways, we were allowed to go inside tattoo shops and bars. All of the owners in Old Sac were so nice and let us take photos inside their shops. I liked walking around with my friends and taking photos of things I never had before. The assignments helped me stay focused because my mind was only focused on that and getting to where I needed to go to get the photos I needed. Next time I go, I think I will take pictures of restaurants and candy shops. I felt prepared for the trip because we had practiced taking lots of photos in class. This was one of the best trips I have ever taken with a class because my friends were there and we got to walk around by ourselves and not with a teacher or principal. Thank you Derek for taking us to Old Sac and giving us a chance to take photos of one of my favorite places to go.

The Holly Berry Bush

My friend Olivia and I walked over to the school's theater and while she was taking other pictures, I walked over to the other side of the building and found these bushes. I took a photo because, it looked so nice and reminded me of Christmas. I love Christmas because, it reminds me of good times with family and friends.
